The material can be exposed to 2000° C shortly before charring. Varmex® fibres have multiple applications and are used in all places where people and expensive equipment must be protected against fire, heat, embers, sparks etc. Varmex® fibres are also one of the components in certain composite plastics, which are used in Formula 1 racing cars, spacecrafts, skis, etc. D-S Sikkerhedsudstyr A/S is an all-in supplier of Personal Protective Equipment for the industrial industry. Our main product is the fire resistant Varmex®, developed by us and manufactured at our factory, using the most modern techniques and technology.
