Since starting in 1992 SPUR has been producing different types of plastic products. Production is based on own research and development activities, which follow market demand and also interest in new characteristics of plastics. At present SPUR a.s. has approx. 240 employees. The turnover in 2017 reached approx. 950 mil Czk. More than 50% of production is exported abroad. The production programme is devided into the following basic groups : Plastic pipelines, sheets and profiles produced by extrusion of polymers - for building, consumer, furniture, packaging industry etc. Tubes from high density polyethylene (PE-HD) for mechanical protection of optical and also metalic cables. TUBEX® - expanded insulation and packaging materials made out of foam polyethylene as tubes or sheets.RETROX® - different types of retro-reflexive materials which ensure safe visibility.SPURO® Foam - EPE packaging materials - bags, rolls, sheets, etc. SPURO® Profile - EPE foam protective profile and edgesSPURO® Bubble - bubble filmSPURO® Kart - extruded corrugated sheets - polypropylene PPTransparent GPPS sheets. Undetachable adhesive film. Research and Development - Nanotechnologie - PUR a.s produces the products in its industrial areas in Zlin, total area is approx. 55.000 m2. TESLA, akciová společnost is the successor of one of the first electro technical enterprises in the former Czechoslovakia. It was founded exclusively with Czech capital under the name ELEKTRA on January 18, 1921. From 1932 to 1945 it became a part of the PHILIPS corporation. The production program ranged from light bulbs, electron tubes, radio receivers, military technology to radio and television transmitters. The corporation has conducted its commercial activities under the TESLA name since March 7, 1946. It is also the owner of the TESLA trade mark in more than 100 countries world-wide. More than 1, 500 TESLA transmitters, on the territory of the former USSR alone, were covered over 60% of all radio and television broadcasting at the end of 20th century. Many radio transmitters were sold to Egypt, Algeria, Yemen and Syria in spite of competitive offers from other producers.
