  2. BULGARICA DAIRY

    Czech Rep.

EN: We are a small family dairy that has been producing dairy products for three generations. Our long dairy tradition began in 1937 in the village of Čerkovna 30 km from the Black Sea. We still use the same Old Bulgarian technology obtained from our ancestors. We process all products by hand. We process milk only by gentle pasteurization without the use of homogenization, thickeners and preservatives. We use Czech farm milk and the original Bulgarian live culture of Lactobacillus Bulgaricus in symbiosis with probiotics. For several thousand years, sour milk (yogurt) has been a traditional food of Bulgarians. The word "yogurt" is of Prabulhar origin, where jog means thick and urt milk. In 1905, the Bulgarian professor Dr. Stamen Grigorov discovered Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Streptococcus Thermophilus, and Bulgaria gave the world yogurt. ** We do not use Bifidus or other bacteria that have nothing to do with yogurt. ** During production in our dairy, we use only glass, recyclable or compostable corn containers. _______________________________________________ CZ: Jsme malá rodinná mlékárna, která se zabývá výrobou mléčných výrobků již po tři generace.
