Since 2000 the company is a private venture of 100% Bulgarian capital. The plant was additionally renovated and modernized, again using German technology and equipment for its automatic processes. Currently Electrostart JSCo is the sole Bulgarian manufacturer of electromagnetic and electric ballasts, transformers, ignition devices and other components for luminescent, metal-halide, sodium, mercury and gas-discharge lighting units. Electrostart is a registered trademark in the European Union, along with a number of countries in the Middle East, Northern Africa and South America. The company has a consistent representation on the markets in over 40 countries around the world, spreading over 4 continents.
