Les Calcaires de la Sambre have been working a limestone seam for over 100 years. The quarry produces many products from large rock rubble for riverbank protection to the finest fillers for mineral loadings and aggregates for construction work. The strictest standards are adhered to during the manufacture of our products. We are ISO, CE, GMP and BENOR certified. The main characteristics of our stones are a light grey colour for building stone and an almost white limestone used for industrial purposes. We make various qualities of limestone with high calcium carbonate content and very low iron oxide content. We supply the following sectors: construction, civil engineering, glass-making, glassware, iron and steel manufacturing, brick-making, compounds, plastics, mortars, animal feed, calcium supplements, drainage, chemicals and other industries besides.

For over 35 years, Gilimpex has supplied new and secondhand bottle and pot filling lines. Our in-house technical department handles installation. We represent Borelli, Enos and APE among others. Uses: Beer, wine, liquid soaps, spirits, soft drinks. Our sister company Macovak specialises in adapting filling lines. It designs and installs specially-made plastic parts such as stars, screws, rinsers, guides, fillers, stopper fitters, labellers, and so on.
