At La Lumière, slowly, meticulously, passionately, 10 bookbinders continue to practice sewing with a needle and gilding with a finisher. They also offer cold glued binding, where the sheets are glued by hand and reinforced on the back with cloth. The materials used include leather, synthetic leather, faux leather, and canvas.

The Rongé workshop has been welcoming customers for 4 generations. We provide advice to ensure that clients find their happiness, regardless of the work to be bound. The solutions are numerous and tailored; welding, sewing, casing, bradel binding, cardboard covers, registers, Japanese binding... Boxes, cases, and folders help protect and enhance the book, turning it into a beautiful object as well. This is done using both common and more precious materials; fabrics, papers, leathers. We also carry out repair work on old books.
