We create a positive model, which is then cast by a foundry using the sand casting process and patinated (dark brown). To enhance the contrast, the raised parts are polished or brushed (brass-colored) and are usually also coated with a clear lacquer.

Company History: In 1955, Alois Dambauer founded a lightweight metal foundry (VMG – Vöcklabrucker Metallgießerei) with 4 employees. Due to the demand in his own business, a second pillar, Hurrican – Luft u. Umwelttechnik, was established ten years later. The founder tragically lost his life in a plane crash in 1979. His widow, Margarethe Dambauer, continued the business with their 3 children...
