Westfalen Austria GmbH was founded in October 2005, located in Leobersdorf – about 45 kilometers south of Vienna – and is the fifth subsidiary of the German parent company, Westfalen AG in Münster. This company has a 91-year history and extensive experience, particularly in the fields of gases and energy supply, from which we and our customers benefit. Westfalen Austria GmbH has since established a comprehensive sales infrastructure in Austria. Our product range includes welding and welding protection gases, laser gases, food gases, analysis gases, special gases, as well as a large number of various refrigerants that are harmless to the ozone layer. Additionally, we also offer Westfalengas® (liquefied gas according to DIN 51622, corresponding to propane with a defined purity level). Sales with strong partners, service with expertise We distribute our products through the existing logistics structures of our sales partners – we have consciously chosen not to establish our own central logistics. A comprehensive sales network ensures the smooth supply of our customers. For sales partners who do not have their own delivery service, we cooperate with local transport companies. For large consumers requiring cryogenically liquefied gases such as argon, nitrogen, oxygen, or carbon dioxide, delivery is made by tank trucks from Westfalen Austria GmbH. The necessary tank facilities are designed and provided by us, and all facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art remote monitoring and are serviced by us.
