The production chain is regarded as a closed feedback loop. The company was founded in 1953 by Werner Bucher and taken over in 1983 by Werner Bucher Junior in the second generation. Shortly thereafter, the introduction of the first 6-axis robot took place in 1985. The company has always been committed to continuously developing its tools and services. In 1986, CNC grinding was introduced, which was expanded in its form and function in 1991. In 2008, CNC milling was realized. In 2011, the cutting-EDM technology was introduced.
