Laser Welding Systems The laser welding systems from weil technology are configurable based on standardized platforms and modules into component-, customer-, and project-specific manufacturing systems. The advantages of the laser welding process lie primarily in a welding speed that is up to 10 times higher compared to other welding methods. The result is strong and durable weld connections, reduced heat input into the component, and thus nearly distortion-free workpieces. The basic frames of the laser welding systems consist of solid, torsion-resistant welded constructions in panel design combined with hot-formed steel profiles. The core of each laser welding system is the welding station, a massive stand made of steel welded construction, stress-relieved, on which the axes for the laser welding optics are mounted. All laser welding systems are completely encapsulated with walk-in protective cabins to prevent the escape of laser radiation. The laser welding systems allow for the integration of all laser technologies (fiber, disk, CO2, laser hybrid), ensuring that the best possible beam quality produces perfect weld seams. All laser welding systems are optimized with component-specific clamping technology, allowing for flexible manufacturing as well as quick and safe changeovers through tool changes. Process data monitoring of the laser welding process to detect and prevent welding errors is optional. Additional data monitoring processes can be integrated. Cooling and welding fume extraction are integral parts of the delivery scope.
