Micrometer Adjustable Torque Screwdriver The ExacTorq® torque screwdriver permits single-digit adjustment. Gone are the days of estimating torque. A simple twist of the end-mounted DigiLock mechanism sets your torque levels in exact, single digit increments. The positive locking detent secures your selection. Its‘ unique tri-lobular grip design for enhanced comfort and handling translates into improved operator technique and lower risk of repetitive motion injury. Enhanced comfort translates into enhanced accuracy. The operator cannot overtorque. A clutch releases automatically when desired torque has been achieved. The anti-backlash design enhances the repeatability. Additionally, the ExacTorq® is comfortable in even the smallest of hands, performing flawlessly when used by women and men on the assembly line. To operate, simply dial torque setting and insert bit.

Error-proofing (PokaYoke) torque screwdriver with limit switch output to eliminate missed tightening. Ideal for assembly processes with torque monitoring. After reaching the set torque, the limit switch transmits a trigger signal. This can be picked up by means of a PLC, for example. At the same time, the slip clutch is activated, making over-torque impossible. Series RTDLS are adjustable models. Along the micrometer scale, the desired torque can be easily and quickly adjusted. A locking mechanism prevents unintentional torque adjustment during use. Series RNTDLS are fixed models without scale and are particularly suitable for repetitive tightening operations at the same torque. An additional auxiliary tool (sold separately) is available for each of the 500 cNm models for easier power transmission. For counting tightening operations, the LS screwdriver can be connected to an optional 'CNA-4mk3', for example. [...]

When the set torque is reached, the rotary slip clutch is activated. At the same time, a signal that it has been fully tightened is transmitted by radio. The LED "feedback" system lights up in the handle blue for OK, red for NG. An R-CM receiver (successor to the R-FH256) can recognise the IDs of up to four torque tools. However, simultaneous transmissions are not supported. By using it, a "Poka Yoke" error prevention system can be easily implemented. Using the optional SB-FH2 setting box and setting software, communication settings for R-CM can be easily executed (wireless). The R-CM receiver can control the number of tightening operations of a torque spanner or torque screwdriver. The RTDFH / RNTDFH wireless screwdrivers comply with the telecommunication standards in Japan, the USA, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Mexico, Vietnam, China, the EU, South Korea, Russia and India (information status June 2021).
