Our company was founded in 1986 as a family business and has been a limited liability company since mid-1997. The company founder, Josef Stöger sen., was looking for a new product for his agricultural business and came across the Saflor thistle. The Saflor thrives well in the dry area where our location still is today. However, due to demand, technical requirements, and various other reasons, we did not stop at the Saflor thistle alone, and we have also included other products such as sunflower seeds, or our current main product, pumpkin seeds, in our range. In the 20 years that our company has now been in operation, we have developed into an important partner for organic farmers and organic businesses throughout Europe. We can repeatedly offer and carry out contract cleaning of spices and exotic field crops. Due to these activities, we have the opportunity to offer even the rarest fruits. But we are not only active in the organic sector; we also operate in the conventional sector. In recent years, we have organized flax cultivation (several hundred hectares) for a renowned German company in the border region of Austria-Czech Republic. The current main products of our company are the aforementioned pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed oil, flaxseed, as well as various contract work such as dehulling spelt, cleaning sunflower seeds, processing spices, and contract pressing. Our diverse range also includes sunflower seeds, spelt wheat, various spices, sunflower oil, and thistle oil.
