2018: The TALENTS.CAMPUS.HERNSTEIN, serving as a regional center for talent development and home to the TALENTS.SMITHY.HERNSTEIN, is inaugurated. 2017: SCI.E.S.COM, in collaboration with the municipality of Hernstein, the Hernstein-Grillenberg primary school, and Schloss Hernstein, implements the project of the NÖ Talent Academy to establish the "Talent Smithy Hernstein of the NÖ Talent Academy." 2017: SCI.E.S.COM becomes a partner of the Wienerwald Biosphere Park. 2016: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, Dr. Johannes Leitner speaks to 450 attendees about the current state of science in the search for extraterrestrial life. 2016: Dr. Johannes Leitner discusses space exploration at the European Forum Alpbach. 2015: The SCI.E.S.COM team continues to grow, and the first employee is permanently hired. 2015: SCI.E.S.COM becomes a partner in the Science Center Network Austria. 2015: SCI.E.S.COM hosts the first qualification seminar for STEM educators at the University of Vienna. 2014: SCI.E.S.COM organizes the first professional development initiative for teachers as part of the professional development week of the Association for the Promotion of Chemical and Physical Education at the University of Vienna. 2014: SCI.E.S.COM launches the initiative "Science in Film" at the VHS Urania. 2013: SCI.E.S.COM, together with NÖ Kreativ GmbH/Talent Academy, starts a workshop initiative for talent development in STEM subjects, with a special focus on space-related topics. 2013: Dr. Johannes Leitner founds SCI.E.S.COM, consolidating his previous popular science workshops, seminars, and lectures into the company. 2011: Dr. Johannes Leitner launches his initiative "Science for Children" at the VHS Urania. 2004: Dr. Johannes Leitner delivers his first popular science lecture at the Kuffner Observatory in Vienna, marking the start of his initiative "Science for Adults."
