SANMER Olives is a family-run company located in Valle del Jerte, in the north of the Spanish Cáceres province, birthplace of the olive variety Manzanilla Cacereña. This variety gives high quality olive oil and table olives, highlights for black olives. The Sánchez family started its activity in 1960 with an oil mill. In the late '60s, the main activity of the company changed into the production of table olives, developing different styles of olives: Green Sevillana, Machada, Campo Real, natural and black. In 1975 was created “SANMER” (SANMER stands for SANchez MERino), focusing on the production of black olives, production of the Manzanilla Cacereña variety.
