The psychologist prescribes tasks for the patient to complete in the days following the session, aimed at eliminating the symptom. The duration of psychotherapy treatment is brief. Interventions are planned for 10 sessions. After this period, if the results are positive, therapy can be extended up to a maximum of 20 sessions, while if there are no results, treatment is interrupted.
