PASSIVE FIBER OPTIC COMPONENTS Cables and components – simply belong together For precisely this reason, we decided many years ago to include passive fiber optic components in our product portfolio in addition to cables. In this segment we produce pre-assembled fiber optic cables (cable pigtails, patch cables and breakout cables) with diverse connector and coupling types (FC / PC, FC / APC, SC / PC, SC / APC, ST, E2000 / PC, E2000 / APC, FDDI, FSMA, LC/PC, LC/APC, MTRJ, LX5, MU, MPO). All work steps of manufacturing and quality inspection are carried out by our highly qualified employees at our fiber optic technology plant in St. Barbara – Wartberg. The working rooms meet all the requirements concerning climatisation and workspace for optimum working conditions.Furthermore, we produce completely assembled 19″ fiber optic patch panels that are used for fiber optic distribution or for the fiber optic termination and storage of fiber optic cables and splice cassettes in 19″ rack systems

Our pigtails and patchcables are manufactured completely according to customer specifications in terms of connector-, cable- and fiber type, quality class, length and color – we can respond to our customers’ wishes accordingly flexibly. All the steps of the connector assembly – from the plug assembly to quality control – are carried out by our highly qualified embloyees under optimal working conditions. Our assembly process consists of several steps, such as exposing the fiber, gluing the fiber in the ferrule and curing. After curing, the connector ferrules are polished in several steps, giving them the final shape and surface finish. The finished connectors then go through our 100% quality control. Each connector gets testet at the insertion and return loss measuring station, as well as the geometric surface quality is measured and documented using an interferometer.

We offer the fiber optic wall outlets ready to deliver pre-assembled according to customer requirements. Optionally also in the practical carton box in which the installation cable is spooled on a carton reel. This variant offers considerable advantages during assembly.

We offer our customers a wide range of termination solutions. Thanks to our in-house assembly department, we can produce the solutions pre-assembled – depending on the customer’s requirements.

This house lead-in prevents the movement of the cable laid in the channel and at the same time the penetration of sludge, water, gas and rodents is prevented. It is quick and easy to install, and inflates – without the aid of other aids – by pulling out the release band (see assembly instructions in the download area).
