On a production area of 1,500 m², the family-owned Pelzer Maschinenbau und CNC-Zerspanungstechnik GmbH, founded in 1828, manufactures highly complex and intricate components and assemblies for customers in the optical and precision mechanical industries with approximately 30 employees in Jena. Production is carried out exclusively on modern 5-axis milling machining centers as well as CNC lathes with driven tools, some of which are automated. We are particularly well-suited for the turning of flange-like parts due to the use of vertical lathes. We are also capable of processing plate-shaped parts on a plate milling machine with a vacuum clamping table.
