History: Château Lascombes is a 118-hectare vineyard, of which 112 hectares are classified as Margaux and 6 hectares as Haut Médoc. It occupies some of the best plots in the Margaux appellation, highly sought after for the unique variety of its soils. The second wine, Le Chevalier de Lascombes, is equally impressive and possesses all the qualities of a great wine. It is named after the first known owner of the estate: Chevalier Antoine de Lascombes, who is the origin of this sublime estate. Grapes: 55% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon Vinification: Hand-harvested, stainless steel and wooden vats.
