Flat and Leaf Springs

We manufacture flat and leaf springs in small to medium batch sizes using laser or etching technology. The dimensions are tailored to customer specifications and technical feasibility. Leaf springs are typically made from a flat rectangular profile, taking into account the rolling direction. Preferred materials are spring-hard stainless steel (material 1.4310) and Ck75 – Ck101 (carbon steel). Leaf springs are often deburred after processing through vibratory finishing. When using carbon steels, there is also the option to use already hardened material if the required geometry allows for it (risk of breakage). Otherwise, non-hardened strip or sheet should be used, enabling processing steps such as: punching, bending, and stamping. Subsequently, the leaf springs are hardened and tempered to achieve the desired hardness.
