This needed to be further developed. After the company's headquarters were relocated to Bad Hersfeld in 1980, the Bebra branch focused not only on supplying ventilation systems but also on sheet metal processing and components for the equipment manufacturing industry, leading to the production of today's products. After a relatively short time, the current company specialized in construction locksmithing, working with stainless materials (stainless steel) in combination with perforated sheets, glass, or wood. These require a great deal of skill and specialized processing techniques. The success of the custom-made products from the construction locksmithing division, such as canopies, fences, stairs, railings, carports, and other metal customizations, was so significant that a completely new company emerged from it. This situation was addressed in 1997 with the rebranding of the company Hinz in Bebra. In 2008, an investment was made in a water jet cutting system to meet its own needs and to serve as a supplier for crafts, industry, and private individuals. The company philosophy of the original founder Hermann Horn was adopted by his daughter Sybille Hinz and grandson Martin Hinz of Hinz OHG.
