According to Article 79 of the Act of February 14, 1991, on Notarial Law, a notary performs the following actions: 1) prepares notarial deeds; 1a) prepares certificates of inheritance; 2) prepares attestations; 3) delivers statements; 4) records minutes; 5) prepares protests of bills of exchange and checks; 6) accepts for safekeeping money, securities, documents, data on electronic data carriers; 7) prepares copies, extracts, and excerpts of documents; 8) drafts, at the request of the parties, projects of deeds, statements, and other documents; 9) performs other actions resulting from separate regulations.
