Whether amateur, professional or student, the workshops at MDFGO Fogo can be used by anyone. We give you the chance to reduce the costs of casting your sculpture in bronze. We offer our workshop so that, accompanied by our professionals, you can produce your own waxes for casting and/or finish your sculptures after they are cast in Bronze. We also provide spaces for modeling sculptures in clay or plasticine. All of our spaces are available for sculptors and visual artists to use in developing their projects, using our machines and equipment as an extension of their studio or as a space for experiments, counting on our help in clarifying technical doubts.

For beginners in the casting process and experts, we can provide casting wax. Then you just have to give us a figure modeled with wax. In 3 to 4 weeks we will deliver your bronze cast figure, completely finished and patinated. Cost: Until: 350 Grams of Wax: 150 Euros; 500 Grams of Wax: 350 Euros; 1Kg of Wax: 750 Eur;

For Artists who want to carry out their own finishing on the sculptures after casting, we offer our facilities for finishing. A workstation will be available with compressed air tools, electrical tools, a TIG and MIG welding machine and a cleaning machine. by sandblasting. Consumables such as cutting discs, drills, welding wire and rods, etc. can be purchased at our foundry or brought by yourself.

The sculptor may bring their own waxes. We will create the casting trees, prepare the plaster for casting and pour the bronze. Once cast, the sculptures will be delivered clean of foundry sprue ready for finishing. The waxes will be cast in casting boxes of various sizes. Intensive 2-day course focused on making silicone molds. Silicone molds allow you to make molds of complex and detailed objects that can be used to make several reproductions of the same piece. Course Program: Make 2 silicone molds, one of a small object up to 5 cm (e.g. Fruit) and the other of a larger object up to 20 cm (e.g. Toy). The course can last up to 3 days, with 2 days being the most normal, all depending on the level of difficulty of the objects brought. Open to all skill levels, including beginners. The course is held during normal workshop work and in the same space where other artistic projects are taking place. This way the student can learn about other techniques and come into contact with other materials. The student can ask questions to the trainer or any other of our employees. It is essential to wear old clothes and strong footwear.

Intensive 5-day course focusing on Lost Wax Casting. Wax leakage in silicone molds; Wax touch-ups; Application of filling channels: Execution of refractory coating; Bronze casting; Finishing a bronze sculpture and chiseling techniques; Male; Open to all skill levels, including beginners. It is essential to wear old clothes and strong footwear. Alternatively, you can bring a piece of your own in wax and work. What is included in the price?
