LES AMIS DU TIBET

Founded in 1995, the association Les Amis du Tibet, Luxembourg has been recognized as a development NGO since 1996. Our goals are to raise awareness in Luxembourg about the Tibetan issue, to assist the Tibetan people in their quest for cultural and religious freedom, and to support them through cooperation projects. In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we organize political activities (demonstrations, petitions, articles, the "flag in the municipalities" operation on March 10,...) to raise awareness among political leaders, the media, and the public about the situation in Tibet (serious human rights violations in this country occupied by China since 1950, ecological disaster). We network with other associations in Luxembourg and abroad. Through the organization of cultural activities (performances, conferences,...), we aim to better showcase the richness of Tibetan culture and present its various facets (medicine, architecture, philosophy, religion, arts and letters, language, gastronomy, ...).
