Chateau Godeau Ducarpe 2020 75cl - Aoc Saint Emilion

History: Located in the heart of the prestigious hills of Saint-Emilion, Château Godeau, a charming 7-hectare estate neighboring illustrious domains such as La Mondotte and Tertre Roteboeuf, was acquired at the end of 2012 by the Florisoone family. Château Godeau is a wine estate entirely situated on one of the highest hills of the Saint Emilion appellation (103m) in the municipality of Saint Laurent des Combes. Its limestone hills support a thick layer of clay, allowing for exceptional drainage and water regulation for the vines. Grapes: 90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc Vinification: manual harvesting, parcel-by-parcel vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks Aging: 18 months in barrels, of which 1/3 are new barrels Tasting: Dark, intense, and violet in color. Intense, fruity, powerful, and spicy nose. Full-bodied on the attack, developing very fruity and flavorful with a noble touch, rich in taste and abundant in fruit. A complex finish with enveloping and fleshy tannins.
