KTS is a medium-sized company in plastic processing, founded in 1991. Despite its relatively young company history, the tradition in plastic processing and toolmaking in the Schmölln region dates back to the 1920s. Originating from the traditional button production, once made from stone nut and wood, which made Schmölln globally known at the beginning of the century, and later from thermosetting plastics, a potential in plastic processing has developed in Schmölln, on which the company can draw experience.
