The foundation of a success story spanning more than 90 years was laid by Karl Bruckner in 1918 with the establishment of his mechanical workshop in Stuttgart. He began his journey into self-employment by repairing machines. Due to his ability to find technical solutions, he soon received orders for grinding machines and small lathes. At the same time, he started producing Körnerspitzen. In 1920, he developed and manufactured his first live center point as one of the pioneers in the field. After the early death of the founder, his son Karl-Georg took over the company in 1931. In late 1944, bombs destroyed the operation, which he rebuilt under extremely difficult conditions in 1945. Thereafter, the engineer focused on the production and further development of live and fixed center points. Through diligence and ambition, he expanded his company and the distribution network. In 1963, the business was relocated to Großheppach in the Remstal, the current location. The senior handed over the management in 1979 to his daughter Hilde and son Karl-Friedrich. In 1984, son Manfred joined the company. The continuous pursuit of perfection is reflected in today's product selection and the high precision of BRUCKNER products.
