BRONMETAL, the market leader in the sale and distribution of copper, copper alloys, brass, bronze, aluminum, and high-strength special alloys, was founded in 1988 with the aim of providing solutions from non-ferrous metals. The company focused on strategic specialization and adapting its product range to the sales markets. Initially, the company's main product was bronze (hence the name BRONMETAL). In the 1990s, BRONMETAL entered the market for copper and copper alloys, which is the most commercially demanded product due to the limited supply at the national level. Therefore, BRONMETAL pursues the strategy of offering imported products at competitive prices and in a wide variety of dimensions. This strategy allowed BRONMETAL to conquer the industrial and electrical copper market, achieving significant growth rates in its early years. By the mid-1990s, BRONMETAL had entered the electrical sector and became a reference company in this market. In 1995, the company's new distribution center was opened in Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Barcelona), followed by the Aldaya (Valencia) branch in 1998 and a distribution center in Getafe (Madrid) in 2000. At the beginning of the new millennium, the process of internationalization began with the entry into the Portuguese market, attributed to the wide selection of products, formats, and dimensions. In 2003, BRONMETAL was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 quality certificate for its pursuit of the highest quality, and the company's administrative and business center moved to an 18,000 m2 industrial hall on the outskirts of Bilbao (Larrabetzu). Over the last decade, due to growth in the electrical sector, which has established itself as the company's main sales market, and the renewable energy market, new specialty products have been added to the product range; at the same time, expansion into North Africa, France, and Eastern European countries began, making BRONMETAL the market leader in the sale and distribution of copper, copper alloys, brass, bronze, aluminum, and high-strength special alloys. In 2012, the company International Bron-Metal GmbH was established with the distribution center in Ratingen (near Düsseldorf) to supply the German market.
