ICE - AGENZIA TIRANA

The ICE-Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies was established by Article 14, paragraphs 17-27, of Decree Law No. 98 of July 6, 2011, converted into Law No. 111 of July 15, 2011, as replaced by Article 22, paragraph 6, of Decree Law No. 201 of December 6, 2011, converted into Law No. 214 of December 22, 2011, and subsequent amendments, as an entity endowed with legal personality under public law, subject to the guidance and supervision powers of the Ministry of Economic Development, which exercises them, for matters of respective competence, in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and after consulting the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The ICE-Agency's task is to facilitate, develop, and promote Italian economic and commercial relations abroad - with particular attention to the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, their consortia, and associations - and it operates to develop the internationalization of Italian companies as well as the marketing of Italian goods and services in foreign markets.
