HOSTI International is the leading manufacturer of disposable cardboard tableware in Europe. At Hosti International, around 2 billion paper plates and bowls are produced annually, with more than half made from renewable resources (wood fibers). The product range includes everything from currywurst trays and party plates to party collections featuring napkins, drinking cups, and serving trays, as well as pet food bowls. The company was founded in 1949 by Emil Stickel as Hohenloher Papptellerfabrik in Untersöllbach, Neuenstein. In 1953, the company moved to Pfedelbach. Since 1979, the products have been marketed under the brand name Hosti. At the turn of the year 1983/84, production began in the industrial area of Pfedelbach in newly constructed company buildings. In 2002, the quality certification ISO 9001:2000 was introduced. In 2003, the company's name was changed to HOSTI International GmbH. In 2006, the environmental certification ISO 14001:2004 was introduced. The company founder Emil Stickel, born in 1918 in Bessarabia, passed away on March 7, 2011. In 2012, we expanded our FSC certification to 100% pure. In 2014, we celebrated our 65th anniversary with a grand celebration.
