The continuous development of our products, the constant expansion of the delivery program, and competent consulting ensure that customers always receive a technically and economically optimal solution for their heating tasks. Besides the constant pursuit of the best quality, the philosophy of the company's founder included positioning the business at a manageable size on the threshold to a medium-sized enterprise, in order to ensure permanent market-appropriate flexibility, speed of action, and delivery reliability. To this day, this strategy has proven to be correct. Company History Technician Heinz Stegmeier recognized early on the widespread need for electric heating elements for industrial use in numerous production processes. In 1970, he began manufacturing heating cartridges under simple conditions in the basement of his home. The high quality of his products quickly gained recognition among well-known customers. The initially small program was continuously expanded in line with increasing demand, so that by 1974, the construction of a manufacturing building became necessary. Another highlight in the company's history was marked in 1977. At that time, the company HS-Heizelemente was the first and only company in Europe to meet the strict VDE quality guidelines for high-performance heating cartridges and was allowed to carry the VDE test mark. In the same year, the first patent (installation aid for heating cartridges) was filed. Through numerous further developments and the constant expansion of the standard stock (already in 1979, a comprehensive stock for heating cartridges with thermoelements was established), the rapid development continued, leading to necessary structural expansions in 1980 and 1987. In 1993, the high-performance nozzle cartridge was developed and brought to market. Meanwhile, the company Heinz Stegmeier is among the leading manufacturers of heating elements, whose products find their market worldwide. Since 1998, Beatix Stegmeier-Staub, the daughter of the company founder, has been a member of the management and has been the sole managing director of the company Heinz Stegmeier HS Heizelemente since the departure of Heinz Stegmeier in July 2002.
