The company "hamannit" was founded in 1997 by Josef Hamann. His idea was – and still is – to manufacture special park and garden furniture, as described by the slogan: products with "feel-good ideas" that are comfortable to sit on. The very first furniture series consisted of strikingly colorful recycled plastics. Currently, materials such as high-quality aluminum, steel, plastic, wood, and glass are used. Since the beginning, the focus in developing new products has been on good aesthetics, weather resistance, and of course, ease of maintenance. Due to high demand, the company evolved and continuously expanded its range. Today, not only park and garden furniture are available, but also coherent overall concepts for commercial and private terrace design, gastronomy, employee break areas, schoolyard design, and outdoor classrooms, among others. In addition to the "pure" sale of bistro and terrace furniture, consulting and developing custom solutions is becoming increasingly important. Individual customer requests are integrated as early and ideally as possible into the design planning, including, for example, plant pots, windbreak options, and heating elements. The customer receives fully pre-assembled tables and chairs that only need to be set up on-site, rather than a kit to assemble painstakingly. Upon request, the removal of any old existing furniture can also be taken care of.
