GIANNI BRUNELLI AZ. AGR. LE CHIUSE DI SOTTO

The company consists of a single body of 5 hectares, of which 2.0 are cultivated with vineyards while the remaining two and a half hectares are planted with olive trees, from which Gianni collects olives to produce his extra virgin olive oil, cold-pressed with stone mills. Of the 2.0 hectares of vineyards, 1.5 provide the grapes for the famous Brunello, while the remaining hectare produces the younger, yet equally renowned, Rosso di Montalcino. The vines are trained using the traditional Montalcino method, the spurred cordon. The area where the company is located is historically where Brunello originates, and it is now particularly appreciated for the aromas of the wines produced here.
