The MZD 45/35 P portable clinching pliers are a hand-held device with a compressed air connection. The key features of this portable ECKOLD product are its lightweight design, large throat and 360° swivelling suspension mechanism. Thanks to the large throat and the excellent reproduction accuracy of the preset yet adjustable stroke, the pliers are particularly suitable for joining tasks in the HVAC sector. ECKOLD Handformer HZ 52 ideal for use on construction sites The ECKOLD hand pliers HZ 52 are specially designed for doing adjustments and corrections at the worksite by stretching and even shrinking. They can handle sheet metal and profiles up to 1.0 mm thickness or aluminium up to 1.5 mm thickness. HZ 52 hand pliers are used for correcting or adjusting metal profiles and sheet flanges by shrinking or stretching to make them fit perfectly. Furthermore, clinching (connecting metal parts without heat or additional fasteners) is possible. Changing of the application just by changing the tools. For our Handformers, we offer a wide range of tools (tools are not included in the scope of delivery of these pliers). The stationary clinching unit DFG 400/50 PH is our cheapest model with which you can enter into a stationary and reliable production. A compressed air connection with a maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar is necessary and the operating pressure is adjustable. ECKOLD extrusion embossing allows for direct screwing in sheet metal and does away with press-fitted or welded nuts. The embossed structure formed in the process increases the number of turns for the screw and thus enhances its grip. In addition, extrusion embossing allows for higher torques than would be possible with simple screwing of multiple sheets. The technique is suitable for use in virtually all industries where sheet metal is machined and joined - stationary, robot-controlled or as a punch press system. For high force precision flanging tasks: Portable Kraftformers from ECKOLD This mobile C-frame is generally used for forming and adjusting tasks that require extra force. It is the perfect solution for the flanging of cylinders, baffles and cones as well as for flange repairs. Thanks to the exchangeable tool inserts, the Multiformer is a universal machine that can be configured to handle virtually any forming task. Its roller stops allow for accurate workpiece guidance through the machine. The portable Kraftformer MKF 140 is the largest machine of the ECKOLD Mobilformer series, designed for the forming of 6.0 to 15.0 mm steel and stainless steel sheets of a thickness from 6.0 to 12.0 mm. Small and easy to manoeuvre – Mobilformers MZ 30 for vessel flanging These portable forming pliers are the ideal tool for the flanging of cylinders, baffles and cones and can also be used for neck correction and general adjusting tasks. They are available with various quick-exchange tool inserts so that they can be configured to suit any forming task. The pliers are guided by hand along the workpiece. The ECKOLD Mobilformer MZ 30 has been developed for slightly thick sheets of 3.0 – 7.0 mm (steel) and 3.0 – 5.0 mm (stainless steel).
