"The Goji Tree The Goji Tree is a shrub/tree on which the goji berry grows and is native to China. This tree was imported into Europe in the 18th century. The long curved branches have thorns. The leaves are grey-green and the flowers purple. The berries are about 2 cm long and orange-red in colour. Before being dried, they are juicy and burst quickly. The goji tree can withstand all weather conditions, varying between -26℃ in winter and 40℃ in summer. After a growth period of 2 years, the first berries are produced. Goji berries are grown on a plantation along the Yellow River in China. In this area 3000 trees are planted per hectare, where they grow in width. The trees grow to about 1 meter high and produce 1 kilogram of Goji Berries per season. Nutrients and uses These goji berries are dried and 100% organic.
