Located in Casteljaloux (Lot-et-Garonne), Castelmaïs is the Terres du Sud group's leading corn transformation plant. Castelmaïs has been fostering collaboration between the different players in the south-west's corn industry, the region's historic crop, for over 10 years. By collecting class A red corn from local farmers and supplying Castelmaïs, Terres du Sud transforms the grain into semolina, corn flour and derived products. This close collaboration in the south-west's 100% local industry, enables Castelmaïs to supply transformed cereal products to the human and animal food industries, whilst guaranteeing the corn's traceability of origin.
