Aytaş Gypsum A.Ş. was founded in 2007 in Ankara, Bala, where the highest quality gypsum stratum is located. Two production plants, namely Aygips and Aypan, are situated on a total open area of 100,000 square meters and a closed area of 22,000 square meters. The Aygips powder gypsum production plant was activated in February 2008. The Aygips plant has a capacity of 2,200 tons of powder gypsum per day. The Aypan production plant was activated in May 2009, and its annual capacity is 20,000,000 square meters of gypsum board. Aytaş Alçı operates with the vision of making the Aygips and Aypan brands highly sought after in the international market, continuously responding to changing consumer needs, and creating a respected brand that consistently improves to adapt to rapidly changing environmental conditions while contributing to the expansion of the usage area of gypsum-based construction materials. Aytaş Alçı is increasing its recognition not only within Turkey but also in surrounding countries. A total of 25 countries, including Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus, Macedonia, Malta, Sudan, Syria, Russia, Turkmenistan, Jordan, Afghanistan, and Greece, are among the countries to which Aygips, Aypan, and Aysist branded products are exported.
