LAHN (Laboratoire d’Analyse des Huiles Naturelles) specializes in the quality control of natural oils and saffron. We establish compliance reports in relation to AFNOR, ISO, CODEX, Pharmacopoeia, or European regulations. Quality control of olive oils allows us to establish VIERGE EXTRA compliance, which is mandatory for the marketing of olive oils according to regulation CE 2568/91. We also analyze all kinds of edible oils (sunflower, walnut, hazelnut, camelina, safflower, castor, sweet almond, sesame, hemp, rapeseed, black cumin, grape seed, soybean, argan, etc.) and we write compliance reports according to the CODEX standard. The laboratory analyzes the composition of essential oils (lavender, lavandin, thyme, sage, rosemary, hyssop, etc.). We create allergen sheets, technical sheets, IFRA certificates for the use of essential oils as ingredients in cosmetic products. The laboratory also offers the analysis of several physicochemical parameters: acid index, peroxide index, density, refractometry. The peroxide index is particularly requested to evaluate the shelf life of oils (DDM). The laboratory also analyzes saffron according to the ISO standard saffron 3632. Our laboratory performs all these analyses and regulatory documents with great responsiveness. Our reports can be written in French or English.
