The company HiTec Zang was founded in 1979 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Zang initially as an engineering office. In the first years, custom hardware developments in analog and digital technology as well as programming work were carried out on behalf of clients. With the emergence of the first operational "home computers", the development of intelligent measurement data acquisition systems began. The constantly changing conditions in the laboratory and pilot plant increasingly demanded high flexibility in the user interface, programs, and interfaces to the process. Unlike conventional automation systems, the MSRmanager system met these requirements. Our customers primarily come from the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries. The product and delivery range includes everything needed for research and development with small reactor systems: Laboratory reactor systems, Parallel reactor systems, Mini-plant technology, Reaction calorimeters, Laboratory automation, Laboratory equipment, Weighing and dosing technology for gases, liquids, and solids, Mini fermenter systems with exhaust gas flow measurement, Fermenter controls, Gas mixing stations. HiTec Zang LabManager laboratory automation systems have established themselves widely as a quasi-standard for laboratory automation in research and development laboratories.
