Dubbed ‘ceramic steel’ Zirconia (ZrO2) ceramic materials offer a combination of high hardness, wear and corrosion resistance while still maintaining one of the highest figures for fracture toughness amongst ceramic materials. CeramaZirc Ultra Tough is an advanced zirconia-based ceramic composite material based on partially stabilised zirconia and alumina platelets and is the latest and toughest composite to be introduced by Precision Ceramics.

Boron Nitride is an advanced synthetic ceramic material available in powder, solid, liquid and aerosol spray forms. Its unique properties – from high heat capacity and outstanding thermal conductivity to easy machinability and superior dielectric strength – make boron nitride a truly outstanding material.

A clean stainless steel surface will generate its own passive oxide layer when exposed to oxygen. It is this oxide layer that gives stainless steels their corrosion resistant qualities, it is possible however to accelerate the formation of this layer by chemical passivation.

We offer a comprehensive range of super mirror marine polished stainless steel tube in grade 316 (1.4401). The size range covers tubes from ½” (12.70mm) – 2.1/2” (63.50mm) with a 16 gauge (1.6mm) wall thickness. Suitable for marine environments and high-chloride exposure.
