Product Features: • Rugged electronic instrument enclosures, ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. • Heavy duty, thick wall design with an average wall thickness of .13" (3.3mm). • Standard versions from flame retardant ABS plastic (carries a UL flammability rating of 9V-0). • On standard and water-tight versions, countersunk lid is secured with four M3 x 0.5 - 0.71" (18mm) long, Philips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings. Perfect for applications with repetitive assembly and disassembly required. • Economy version is moulded in general purpose ABS plastic. • Economy version utilizes self tapping screws into plastic posts (no brass inserts). • Standard and economy versions are rated IP54, but can be upgraded to IP66 with gaskets and screws with O-rings. • Water-tight versions are rated IP66. • Stocked in black and grey with matte textured finish.

Product Features: • One piece moulded construction - no lid. Designed for potting box applications. • Moulded from black general purpose ABS plastic with a flame rating of UL94-HB. • Temperature rated -20°C to +94°C. • 1.0mm (0.04") wall thickness except for 1596B103 (0.8mm).

The 1591XXF size is a universal type which includes P.C. boards standoffs in the lid and enclosure PLUS includes card guides. • Strong tongue and groove lid to box construction provides protection against access of dust and splashing water. • Designed to meet IP54. • Lid and box both contain- moulded in PC board standoffs. • Standard black and grey versions moulded from easy to machine, flame retardant ABS plastic (material carries a UL flammability rating of 94V-0). • Transparent blue and all economy versions are moulded from general purpose (not flame-retardant) plastic. • Stocked in satin texture black and grey.

For indoor use. • Polycarbonate versions are UV stabilized for outdoor use. Grey polycarbonate carries a UL94-5VA rating. • Polycarbonate versions are UL 508A listed (File #E65324). • Enclosure colour is a light grey (RAL 7035). • Gasketed lid with two piece "tongue and groove" construction provides protection against access of oil, dust and water.

Supplied loose inside the enclosure (not pre-installed). • Polycarbonate versions are designed to meet NEMA Type 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 ratings which meet and exceed IP ratings up to and including IP68. (Except 1554/55 V size which is 4,4X only).
