In addition to providing your employees, residents, pupils or customers with clearly signposted and easy to identify escape routes, emergency lighting systems act as a standby, allowing for normal works to continue. We can install the following kinds of lighting: I Open Area Lighting: Sometimes referred to as emergency exit lighting, escape route lighting or anti-panic lighting, these lights are typically placed above doors to direct people towards the quickest route out of the building. Our installations are all in line with The Regulatory Reform Order 2005 for Fire Safety. I High Risk Area Lighting: Typically used in the vicinity of machinery or hazardous operations, this type of lighting is designed to illuminate the area and allow the machinery to be shut down safely and ensure the safety of persons in the building and area. In addition to installing emergency light systems, we can perform inspection, maintenance and testing services for your peace of mind.

Heskins produces an excellent range of self-adhesive glow in the dark directional floor signs. The signs easily mark out emergency routes or fire exits. We produce photoluminescent floor signs in a size of 400mmx400mm; with rounded corners (to help with durability) and are laminated with a tough upper surface to help prevent the print being damaged. The permanent adhesive grips most surfaces with ease. The floor signs are charged by natural or artificial lights, during the day they are a vivid green and white display but as soon as the lighting is diminished they become black with glowing white infills. Photoluminescent floor signs are far more cost-effective than using powered signs and can be placed onto almost any flat substrate.
