The C 62 is a highly dynamic machining centre designed for 5-axis/5-side machining. Numerous features ensure high-precision and cost-effective working on workpieces up to 2500 kg in weight. Various optional extras simply add to the capabilities for innovative advanced machining. As with all HERMLE machining centres, the C 62 offers various workpiece loading options to guarantee optimum operation. 5-axis/5-sided machining means the C 42 lends itself to be used in every application area. With traverse paths adapted to the workpiece size and perfectly designed for 5-axis applications, the C 42 is ideal wherever complex, close-tolerance components are required. This includes various applications in the tool and mould making, medical, aerospace, motorsport, machine sectors and other industries: The C 42 machining centre is at home in every area. The space-saving circular tool magazine integrated into the base body of the machine works according to the pick-up principle - thus enabling quick tool changes. In the standard version, the C 42 can hold 42 tools and can be extended to 192 pockets. The control panel can be easily adjusted to the respective user. Laser welding is a very gentle welding technique, as the heat input takes place in a locally very limited area. In this way, it is possible to reliably connect critical components with one another in a materially bonded manner, without the parts annealing. With laser welding, the two welding partners are joined together with as few gaps as possible in order to then weld them together (e.g. press-fit zones such as EloPin® puzzled at any feed or distance). The background to this is that no additional material is generally used in laser welding. Exception for build-up welding or repair welding of e.g. broken tool parts such as punches or cutting plates or injection molding tools for abrasive plastics with glass fiber filling. Designed to be used for reference weight establishment Inside the load receptor there is an aluminum strain gauge load cell which is perfect for the use in dry areas. As a standard fitted with protection IP41, optionally available with IP65. As compared to other precision scale technologies the iL Precision 65F/SP impresses not only by its simple design but also by reaching its weighing accuracy w/o lever work or motorized calibration device.

The curelog is a precise radiometer with dose measurement and up to four spectral ranges. Due to its fast and precise measurements the curelog can universally be used for applications in the fields of lacquer curing, bonding, sterilization, disinfection, lithography and many other applications. The adjustable data recording rate of up to 2000 Hz (measurements per second) allows reliable measurements on fast running UV belt systems. The recording time of up to 180 h allows the measurement of long-lasting processes at low doses, like UV disinfection. The curelog simultaneously records up to four spectral ranges, each with a high-precision 24 bit ADC. The high-precision ADC gives the curelog a extrem high dynamic range. The resolution of 0.0001 mW/cm² and a measurement range of 50 W/cm² are the main features of the curelog. All common UV lamps and UV-LEDs can be measured and compared, no matter if spot or area lamps, fibre optics or UV/VIS LEDs are used.

Pressure gauge and thermometer are suitable for the various pressure and temperature measurement applications. We offer solutions for gas and liquid measurements. The range covers capsule, plate or Bourdon-tube pressure gauges and measuring instruments made from various materials with versions extending from standard models to stainless steel versions, for use in corrosive environments, and electronics measuring equipment.

The Micro Screw range consists of self-tapping and metric standard screws along with metric threads according to customer-specific applications. When the trend is to minimize the size and weight, these durable and small dimensioned screws provide the required competitive advantage where even the smallest gram and millimeter counts. Precision resistors are used wherever the highest standards of temperature stability, error tolerance and durability are required. Models 1164 and 1166 are available for higher loads up to 1 W. The resistors are supplied with two connections on the front end (suitable for mounting on circuit boards). The precision resistors comprise low-capacitance, low-inductance wire coils made of MANGANIN®, which are encapsulated in small plastic cylinder housings. Prior to trimming, the resistance bodies are exposed to a meticulous artificial aging procedure. This special process and trimming to approximately half of the nominal tolerance guarantee long-term stability of < 0.02% over the course of years. Today resistance thermometers are one of the important precision and operating measurement instruments of technical temperature measurement. Fast and easy testing of display, control and recording devices in measurement and process engineering is essential. Fixed temperature values can easily be simulated according to the characteristic curves of Pt100, Pt500 and Pt1000 using the precision resistors calibrated in °C (the inscription also includes the resistance value in Ω). The small dimensions of the resistors allow the installation in measuring instruments or measuring circuits for comparison or control measurements. This high-precision calibration source is able to measure currents up to ±50 mA, voltages ±100 V and temperature setpoint values of 12 thermocouple types, including R, S, B, J, T, E, K and N. Voltage drops across the measuring leads can be easily compensated via the sense line. With “thermoelectric voltage simulation” you can enter °C, °F and K, the temperature scales ITS-90 or IPTS-68 and the reference junction type constant/external. The 8661 precision torque sensor is the ideal choice for reliable measurement of static and dynamic clockwise and counter-clockwise torques. Thanks to its high measurement quality and low linearity error, the sensor is equally at home in quality control or research & development. Designed for non-contact operation and zero-maintenance, the 8661 is also ideally suited to the production environment, whether on shift-based production lines, test benches or end-of-line test systems. The 8661 torque sensor is the specialist device for constant torque measurements during continuous operation and for test-bench measurements of holding, friction, break-away or tightening torques. An optional built-in incremental encoder disk with up to 2000 increments makes the sensor the perfect alternative where space or budget rule out an additional angle or speed sensor. For mobile use and for instant digital access to measurement data, the 8661 torque sensor is also available with a USB interface.

This high precision torque sensor is designed for both static and dynamic measurements on non-rotating applications. It is particularly suitable for torque measurements on, for instance, extremely small electrical actuating drives and micro-mechanical actuator elements, or for measuring reaction torques e.g. on micro-motors. The high accuracy of measurement also makes this sensor ideal for use as a reference in many fields of industrial manufacture as well as laboratory research and development projects. Not containing any rotating parts, it requires no maintenance if properly used. The strain-gage based sensor’s modular design allows precise configuration for the desired application. With the integrated amplifier option, the sensor directly supplies a voltage signal of 0 ... ±10 V that is proportional to the torque. The sensor can be configured via the micro-USB interface, providing access to, for example, a filter frequency setting, averaging, and a tare function.

The BL57 is a high-resolution, exposed linear encoder with interferometric operating principle in transmitted light design. The BL57 has a graduation period of 1.6µm and generates a sinusoidal signal period of 400nm due to the laserscale operating principle. This allows resolutions of up to 6.1pm. to be achieved. Due to the high response speed of up to 3m/s, it is perfectly suited for high-precision and fast X/Y stages.
