In pneumatic conveying systems, conveying abrasive products – in particular at high conveying speeds – leads to abrasion and thus to wear in the pipe bends. In order to prevent this, the pipe bend of our highly wear-resistant DWR double-skin stainless pipe bends is encased in a second pipe bend, which creates a double-walled chamber. This acts, so to speak, as a “protective shield”: After the wear has taken place on the internal pipe bend, it fills with the product to be conveyed. When this process is completed, you are then conveying „product on product“ – and no further wear is possible! Glass pipe bends For conveying abrasive media or for high flow rates, we can supply you with glass pipe bends made from 3.3 borosilicate glass with a copper grounding strip. The measuring element of the load cell consists of a double bending beam on which strain gages are applied. The applied force detunes the measuring bridge so that a proportional output voltage is generated. The strain gages on the measuring element are protected against dirt and water spray by a rubber bellows. The sensor can be easily mounted via two mounting holes. The tension or compression force to be measured is introduced at the opposite end perpendicular to the sensor axis. Due to its special design, the influence by an extension (e.g. touch finger) on the measuring signal is low. Overload protection can be realized with little effort using a mechanical stop. The sensor element consists of a double bending beam with applied strain gages. Changes in the ohmic resistance of the strain gage fullbridge caused by applied forces are converted into electrical voltages. The precise value (characteristic value) of the output voltage, resulting from the application of a rated force to the sensor, is specified in the accompanying calibration protocol. The sensor has to be mounted by two screws on the cable side. The opposite side is meant to receive applied forces (loads). Once the rated stress or strain is exceeded by 20 %, further deflection of the bending beam is prevented by an integrated, mechanical stop. This protects the sensor element against permanent deformation.

The PSU 450 GS is a circular saw specially designed for sawing curved tubes such as mufflers, hydroforming or exhaust pipes. Standardised mounts and their flat material table enable individual workpiece fixtures to be accepted. The saw entry and exit point can be freely adjusted accordingly. The standard two-hand operation allows comfortable and safe working without disturbing mechanical guards. Laser cutting or laser fine cutting of metal, we can precisely process all metallic, non-toxic materials in material thicknesses from 0.2 to 2.0 mm. With our high-precision 1kW fiber laser (Nd: YAG with a wavelength of 1064nm) in combination with highly dynamic linear drives, we can produce your laser cuts in copper and brass. Due to our extremely small focus of 0.05mm, we usually create a cutting cag/ clearance of 0.07mm, so that the most delicate contours (especially inner contours) can be realized without mechanical stress, as the processing takes place without contact. This enables high-quality and precise prototypes and small series in contract manufacturing using cutting lasers. Accuracies of +/- 0.01mm, which are required in the sealing area for plastic overmolding for complete plugs or housings. Dimensions: sheet thicknesses from 0.2 to 2.0mm, max. sheet metal of max. 1,250mm x 1,250mm.
