SOLUTION TO EFFECTIVELY STORE EXCESSIVE HEAT FROM BIOGAS PLANTS – FROM 2,000 TO 6,000 M³ The LIPP® Thermal Storage Tank is a customized solution to effectively store excessive heat from biogas plants, biomass heating plants, solar plants or other heat sources. The carbon steel tanks are fabricated on site with the patented automated LIPP® Welding Technology. The horizontal MAW welding process enables the infinitely variable production of tanks up to 6,000 m³ volume with horizontal welding only. The large volume, above ground storage tanks are fitted with all necessary safety and operation equipment. Additional, individual components according to client’s specification can be considered. The roof and wall insulation is individually adapted to local conditions. The LIPP® Thermal Storage Tanks operate at atmospheric pressure, at a temperature of up to 95° C and are suitable for use with heating water. No additional nitrogen system necessary.

The ultrasonic actuators of the TWINLINE product line are used for solving weld tasks with a Herrmann Ultrasonic 20 kHz twin sonotrode. The finely tuned twin-stack is mounted on a carriage. The construction and design principle allows for large weld forces and high precision. This product line also provides a number of variants.

Optimal machine design for 20 kHz applications for which the joining process must be precisely performed by several sonotrodes in a single weld process. The rigid sonotrode support is realized by means of individual alignment modules and allows for accurate positioning even at large weld forces. Contrary to conventional designs, the weld stroke is performed by the anvil. During this stage, the plastic parts to be welded are moved against the stationary sonotrodes. Thus, it is possible to obtain machine cycle times of less than 10 seconds.

The automatic weld chamfering machine ASO 920 is for portable use in weld seam preparation. The attachment of large welded chamfers on the workpiece upper edge up to a chamfer length of 90mm can be performed by the machine effortlessly without any thermal change to the material, because the heat dissipation occurs through the chip. V, X, K, U or Y seams can be prepared thanks to the gradual angle adjustment from 0° - 30°. The highlight here is the machining preparation of a tulip seam. The machine is very durable and shows its’ strength in every material through their sturdy construction. Extremely high tool service life can be achieved with the low-speed chamfering. Sheet thickness started at 8mm can be processed. The automatic weld-chamfering machines from the ASO 930 series are for stationary and portable use in weld seam preparation. The attachment of large welded chamfers on the workpiece bottom edge up to a chamfer length of 74mm can be performed by the machine effortlessly without any thermal change to the material. V, X, K or Y seams can be prepared thanks to the gradual angle adjustment from 0° - 75°. The machines are very durable and show their strength in every material through their sturdy construction. Extremely high tool service life can be achieved with the low-speed chamfering. Sheet thickness started at 8mm can be processed. Smaller workpieces can be processed manually. With its placement prism on wheels, the ASO 760 is ideal for welded seam preparation for straight and large workpieces. Different welding chamfers can be produced through the angle setting from 0 - 60°. The two-disc chamfer with the wonderful and patented 8 cutting turning plate system guarantees long service life, best surface qualities and efficient working. The machine is designed for handling steel, aluminum, copper and plastics. A chamfer width of up to 18mm is possible here. Round materials or tubes starting with an external diameter of 150mm can be chamfered through an optionally available pipe chamfering device.
