The Flottweg Z8E: The Giant Decanter With the new Z8E decanter centrifuge, Flottweg is extending its product range and setting new standards. Right from the start of development of the Z8E, the target was set of concentrating on the specific requirements of an extremely wide range of industries. The modular design of this decanter centrifuge means it is possible to adjust optimally to all kinds of separating tasks. Irrespective of whether two-phase or three-phase separation is involved, Flottweg always has the right machine configuration available with the Z8E decanter centrifuge. The secret of success of Flottweg separators is the separator bowl. The compact and robust design of the AC1500 convinces customers worldwide. Since the complete bowl can be assembled and disassembled as one compact component, simple and time-saving maintenance is guaranteed. The spindle of the AC1500 reaches its operating speed within a few seconds and can be flexibly adapted to product requirements through simple and variable speed control. In addition, the AC1500 operates so efficiently that power consumption can be reduced while at the same time decreasing the mechanical load on the system.

Success is hidden in the bowl - the separator spindle. Powerful drive motors ensure high availability of the centrifuge. This efficiency combined with quiet running sets standards in separation technology worldwide. The soft-shot system, specially designed by Flottweg, performs acoustically hardly perceptible solids discharge. Depending on the customer's requirements, it can be set as desired whether partial or full discharges are to be carried out in order to achieve higher product yields. In addition, it is possible to set the discharge times to a tenth of a second.

The New C2E Decanter Centrifuges for Small Treatment Plants Flottweg presents a new era of sludge dewatering for small sewage treatment plants. The C2E decanter centrifuge was developed specifically for the dewatering and thickening of smaller sludge loading rates. It features all of Flottweg's know-how in a compact, space-saving design. Over five decades, Flottweg has gathered rich knowledge of the area of sewage sludge thickening and dewatering. That know-how has been transferred into a new generation of environmental centrifuges. Our requirements for the C2E are just as high as for the big Flottweg Decanters. Disposal costs still play a central role, even for small communities. Floor box 8808T with 8 slots made of polished stainless steel. It can be installed at any point in the floor, as pipes are used for the line feed. Because of its low height, this version is particularly suitable for floors in old buildings. The lid is designed for the inlay of carpets, cork floors or the like, with a covering thickness of 5–7 mm, and closes even when the plugs are inserted. Further equipment variants on request.

Round hollow floor tank 9908A with a housing made of sendzimir galvanized sheet steel, rim and lid made of solid aluminum with a lid for laying on. The cover also closes in a straight or angled shape when a standard plug is plugged in. The reversible lid is anodized in natural aluminum or can be covered with a carpet, etc. Other equipment variants on request.

Raised access floor power system 8512BK with 12 slots. The housing is made of sendzimir galvanized sheet steel. The insert lid and frame are made of 1.5 mm thick stainless steel. The lid is removable and can be covered with a 15 mm floor covering such as Stone, wood etc. The bottom of the receptacle box can be opened for subsequent pulling of cables without affecting the connected units. The housing is made of sendzimir galvanized sheet steel, the frame and the insert lid are made of solid aluminum. The lid is anodized in natural aluminum and can be fitted with floor coverings. It closes even when the standard plug is inserted. The bottom of the receptacle box can be opened for subsequent pulling of cables without affecting the connected units. Hanging distributor HV1006 made of stainless steel with 6 units: three Schuko sockets with VDE certification, one CEE 5/16A 400V/6h socket with VDE certification, one RJ45 double CAT6A and a compressed air coupling. Ideal for use in workshops. The hanging distributor HV1006 is delivered with hooks and carabiners (without cables, hoses and wire ropes shown).

Retractable Power Distributor/power bollard SV501 for indoor and outdoor use, made of saltwater-resistant aluminum. Due to its solid construction, the SV501 lowering distributor can be driven over by a truck, of course, only when the lid is fully closed. The surface is anodized with a stainless steel look. The retractable power distributor SV501 is equipped with 8 protective contact sockets 2 / 16A 230V with hinged cover (unsecured, without wiring). The devices are raised and lowered using a crank. Drainage is required for outdoor installation. The housing is watertight when closed, protection class IP67. Alternatively, other combinations are also possible. Aluminum leveling ring 12251 for floor socket 7702A and 7704A for use in wooden floors or raised access floors. The leveling ring is attached to the floor socket with screws and screwed onto the floor from below. The delivery takes place with grub screws, but without illustrated fastening screws and illustrated floor socket.

The EPS insert 12104 serves as a screed placeholder for the 8602A floor sockets.

The plastic insert 12108 serves as a screed placeholder for the floor socket 9902A and 9902D.

Rain protection set 12255 consisting of an extension made of PVC and a black protective cap made of soft PVC for the floor sockets 7702A and 7704A. The rain protection set offers ideal protection against rain with plugged-in connections.

CEE floor tank 6523Q with a stainless steel housing. The lid closes watertight, protection class IP 65, and has an internal tube for using the tank when the lid is closed. Degree of protection with tube: IP21. Further configuration variants on request.

The CEE floor box 6610A consists of a housing in stainless steel 1.4301 (3 mm) and a lockable, 20 mm thick lid made of anodized aluminum. When closed, the CEE floor box is not waterproof. In the outdoor area, a drain pipe must be provided on-site to drain the housing. Due to the surface load of 6.5t, this version can be driven on with a truck if it is properly installed and the lid is completely closed. The lid opens with the help of a gas pressure spring and can be closed with plugged-in connectors. Further configuration variants on request.

The CEE floor tank 6620A consists of a housing made of stainless steel 1.4301 (3 mm) and a 20 mm thick cover made of anodized aluminum that can be closed with a tool. When closed, the CEE floor tank is not waterproof. In the outdoor area, a drainage pipe must be provided on site for the housing to be drained. Due to the surface load of 6.5t, this version can be driven on with a truck if it is properly installed and the lid is completely closed. CEE floor tank 8314A made of solid aluminum with lockable hinged lid. Easy opening and closing of the lid thanks to a snap lock integrated in the lid. When closed, the floor tank is splash-proof and therefore also suitable for wet sweepers. The frame and lid surface are anodized in natural aluminum. Wall socket 5501A with one slot, splash-proof, with protection class IP44. The hinged lid can be locked with a key and is therefore primarily protected against unauthorized use. Multi-coil wave springs are made from flat-rolled spring wire that is coiled to a helical shape and the coils are at the same time given a sinus shaped wave form. The force-deflection relation is created by flattening out the wave form when the spring is compressed. The function is hence like a helically shaped leaf spring.

Volute Springs are used as compression springs and made from flat material coiled to a volute. The coils of the material overlap each other and are guided radially by each other during compression, thus giving the spring a stability against buckling that cannot be achieved with conventional compression springs.

Many applications require two similar springs, but with one right-hand coiled and one left-hand coiled. In some cases, these two springs can be combined into a double spring, which has one right and one left-hand coiled spring body connected to each other.
