POLIFILM is offering a wide assirtment of transparent, white, black and black / white films fort he protection of PVC- and aluminium profiles. Films composition as well as adhesive selection depend upon our customers` specifications. PVC profiles are typically protected by transparent, white or black / white films. Natural rubber based adhesives perform very well for these applications when combined with UV absorbing / blocking films. Natural rubber adhesive systems prevent film lifting during profile cutting and handling. For aluminium profiles mainly black / white films with customer print as well as occasionally black films are used. Our product range includes product with weather resistance between one month and twelve months.

POLIFILM has been successful with surface protection films for more than 40 years. As one of the global suppliers of surface protection films POLIFILM offers a wide range of surface protection solutions for a large variety of different surfaces and requirements. As a main and proven component of typical protection films polyethylene is used. For specific applications other polyolefin resins or polyester are used as carrier components. Our adhesive systems use natural rubber as well as solvent- or water based acrylic components.

POLIFILM is offering a variety of solutions for glass protection. Typically transparent or translucent protection films are used for glass protection. For application, which do not require specific UV or weather resistance we have developed natural rubber adhesive systems, which can also be used for coated (low energy) glass. For applications with higher requirements concerning weathering performance we offer protection films with acrylic adhesives, which typically feature a 3 to 6 month weather resistance. In the United States of America POLIFILM developed an innovative product concept, which allows protection of glass under construction conditions for a period exceeding 12 months. This development was jointly conducted with Cardinal Glass.

POLIFILM comes with a large product assortment of protection films for added value aluminium surfaces. For this application the quality of the carrier film needs to be very specific due to the sensitivity of the fairly soft aluminium. Our protection films are suitable for mill finish aluminium as well as for glossy and even high gloss, anodized aluminium finishes. In addition to traditionally proven natural rubber adhesive formulations we also offer acrylic adhesive systems including easy peel formula for increased productivity.
