Heating systems for frost protection in cold stores and freezer rooms offer a reliable precaution against frost damages and humidity wherever the natural thermal fl ow is not suffi cient for preventing a freezing of humidity in the foundation. For controlling these heating systems, Klöpper Therm developed a new controller offering maximum safety and convenience apart from the approved precise and reliable control. The frost protection controller can easily be confi gured and monitored via web interface. The integrated wake on LAN function enables the booting up of a PC in case of failures (e.g. in a control room) and informs the operating personnel about the type and place of failures.

Efficiency thanks to flat strip The use of flatness measurement alone without control already achieves a noticeable increase in productivity because strip breaks can be effectively prevented or the mill can be operated at the maximum possible speed for the particular unflatness. If the mill has the necessary adjusting elements, the Automatic Flatness Control (AFC) results in an effective improvement in quality. Control results of ± 4 I-units referred to the respective nominal curve are realistic. With our detailed know-how of the interplay between measurement, control and rolling mill we are on of the few manufacturers able to supply complete control systems for the strip shape – from the sensor through to the control of the adjusting elements From the pivoting of the rolls through to the combination of pivoting, bending, shifting of the intermediate rolls and zone cooling and far more – we have a command of the whole spectrum of shape control.

Real-time Linux, Ethernet, CAN, USB plus custom electronics in a space-saving metal top-hat rail casing. In its µMIC.200 family, MicroControl integrates the best of the world of automation for IoT/Industry 4.0. This pioneering controller goes far beyond the functionality of conventional PLC controllers. As an all in one IoT gateway, CANopen automation controller and top-hat rail PC, the µMIC.200 offers an end-to-end solution.

The integrat 80 is used for the modular temperature control with water up to 140°C in the basic version with up to six temperature control circuits to be operated completely independently of each other. The basic version can be expanded with extension columns and up to 24 temperature control modules. As an option, the temperature control circuits can be extended with the 4-way distributor vtc with flow and temperature measurement. Thus, a maximum of 96 temperature control circuits can be monitored with the vtc 4-way distribution system. In conjunction with the standard heating control system used as standard, a homogeneous temperature profile on the mould cavity surface is achieved in an extremely energy-efficient manner, as well as with constant cooling by using a motor valve. As an option, the pumps can also be operated with frequency control unit. This improves the procedural results and contributes to energy savings.

Dynamic mould temperature control is a temperature control method that allows temperature variations within the cycle and is also known as “variotherm temperature control”. While this method has been known for almost forty years, it has only undergone a dynamic development in the last few years. This is due to the increasingly exacting quality requirements of consumers (e.g. prevention of visible joint-lines, gloss variations and other surface defects) and the use of plastic materials in new applications. When a temperature control system is selected it is important to mind that it matches exactly with the application and that the economic benefit justifies the technical efforts as well as the energy consumption.

MULTI-ZONE TEMPERATURE CONTROL- AND MONITORING SYSTEM WITH NON-CONTACT FLOW MEASUREMENT. Due to the design, dimensioning and selection of the used components, enersave temperature control systems are the most efficient systems on the market with the highest flow rates at operating point. By using the frequency inverter, the already high basic efficiency is optimized and the pump characteristic curve will be optimally adapted to the respective operating conditions. The flow measurement of the individual temperature zones is carried out using noncontact measurement technology according to the ultrasonic principle.

Brand-new perspectives and possibilities are offered by the dynamic temperature control with CO2. This new and environmentfriendly procedure really provides a solution for heating and cooling of complex and thinwalled moulded parts. By using gaseous media for heating and cooling processes, soiled cooling channels are now a thing of the past. Basically it is true that gaseous media have the disadvantage to be bad heat carriers. This applies at least to air that is only used for cooling processes under special circumstances. But in contrast, if the opportunities of CO2 are exhausted properly, it offers an interesting alternative to conventional water temperature control.

The multiple water quantity control system in modular design that is available in several versions fulfils not less than three requirements at the same time. It combines the advantages of the conventional water distributors, the impulse cooling systems and the continuously operating temperature control units while eliminating the disadvantages of each of these systems. The temperature control system disposes of up to 128 individually adjustable circuits and is suitable for the processing of polyolefins and technical thermoplastic materials. In case of the basic execution (itd B) the requested flow rate is adjusted manually and is then monitored by a flow meter and presented digitally and graphically on the central display of the control unit. In the standard execution (itd R) the water quantity is individually set for each circuit at the central operating unit and - if necessary - is readjusted automatically via a water quantity regulation valve within adjustable limit values.

The individually printed fabric wristbands live up to the highest of demands. They are made from high-quality double-faced satin and are lightfast, wear-proof, washable up to 60°C and extremely durable. The attached safety closure prevents the passing on of the festival wristbands. Due to the imprinted consecutive numbers, the entry wristband can also be used as a security solution for your event (on request). With an individually designed wristband every guest will feel like a VIP regardless of whether for a concert, festival, wedding or a birthday party.

Power units and Control Systems Ruhfus Systemhydraulik GmbH specialises in the production of special solutions in the field of hydraulic units for industrial use. In order to be able to optimise the product to meet your requirements, you will be supported during the whole project phase by our competent team. Ruhfus Systemhydraulik GmbH can supply hydraulic units with tank sizes of up to 10,000 litres capacity. For this we use DIN oil tanks but also special tanks that are individually adapted to your needs. Here it is immaterial whether the oil tank is made of steel, stainless steel or aluminium. For special designs such as table valves, tank support frames, supporting structures for motor pump units and many more special components connected with your hydraulic unit we are of course likewise the right people to contact. For each of our hydraulic units, 3D models are generated beforehand which can be made available to you. From these you can plan earlier the field piping, possible foundations or building and also transport or other matters in detail. For the drives of our hydraulic units we use standard electric motors with a power of up to 80 kW. On request the motors can also be equipped with a frequency converter. As the valve technology, as well as the oil supply unit, are always subject to customer-specific requirements, limits are always hard to define here. As far as possible only two limits should not be exceeded, on the one hand a maximum volume flow of 275 l/min and on the other a maximum system pressure of 315 bar. Furthermore we can offer you the supply of a complete system of cylinder and hydraulic unit to electric control.
