It can achieve a cutting depth of up to 155mm. The powerful and lightweight motor paired with the compactness of the machine allows for an excellent weight-to-performance ratio. Starting the machine is also very easy due to its design. Because of the combination of Poly-V belt, maintenance-free DuraStarter, and efficient air filter system the maintenance intervals are extended. Through the progressive water valve, the water supply can be exactly regulated, which makes the dust binding as efficient as possible and the mud formation as low as possible. In conclusion the K 970 is a pretty good choice for a wet cutter.

The Eddie Wire Straightening Tool has been designed to work with Flat-Flex® and Flat-Flex® XT® belts. Straightening wire strands during belt joining, regular maintenance checks, and at the beginning / end of each shift is vitally important. The three ends of the wire straightening tool have been machined with slots that accommodate multiple wire diameters each.
