Tanks suitable for maturing the beer obtained after the post-fermentation stage. The residual sugars at the end of the fermentation rocess enable its natural carbonation and the pressure level is maintained by means of a controlled delivery of carbon dioxide. These safe, durable, top-quality beer maturing tanks are made entirely of AISI 304-316 stainless steel. All the tanks are certified in compliance with the PED directive, and they are fitted with special hollow spaces for the circulation of glycol to ensure an effective cooling action and energy saving.

LABILASE is an enzymatic preparation specifically developped to hydrolyze the components of the unfiltrable haze which may appear during fermentation especially when the yeast is stressed by high gravity wort, by fermentation temperatures, by high pressures in big tanks, etc. This enzymatic preparation works at normal fermentation, maturation and resting temperatures between 0°C and 30°C. Labilase is thermolabile and is quickly desactivated during beer pasteurisation. TEMPERATURE This enzyme preparation is active at beer fermentation and maturation temperatures (0°C to 30°C) showing good hydrolysis results as the contact time during these stages is long enough. pH EFFECT This enzyme preparation is active at beer fermentation and maturation pH (4-5) showing good hydrolysis results as the contact time during these stages is long enough. PURPOSES To improve beer colloidal stability by using LABILASE during wort fermentation or beer maturation. Higher glucans can be excreted by yeast...

Imagine being able to create a Belgian type wheat beer, a fruity beer, a top fermentation beer, etc… without having to do anything else than focusing on your own usual beer… CBS makes it possible! These brand makers can be customized on demand. Our product line named « brand final touch » allows to produce « special beers » by adding a brand maker to a normal pale beer just before bottling. All our « final touch » beer brand producers contain exclusively natural aroma compounds (fruits and spices aroma compounds), natural colouring (fruit colours and dark malt extracts) and clouding agents (essential oils emulsions stabilised with vegetal gums). WB-MIX has been set up to produce white beers with taste, flavour and cloudy aspect similar to main commercial Belgian white beers which are refreshing and thirst-quenching. WB-MIX has to be added to a standard base beer with low bitterness (10-12 EBU) as unique requisite to obtain a white beer ( WB-MIX Project). PF-MIX-HOP range of...

MAXIFERM is an amylolytic preparation which catalyzes on one hand the hydrolysis of the alpha-1,6 linkages of amylopectine and on the other hand the hydrolysis of the alpha-1,4 linkages of both amylose and amylopectine by releasing maltose units. PURPOSES To increase the fermentability of wort (apparent attenuation limit) by hydrolysing the alpha-limit-dextrines into maltose units by the combined action of a limit dextrinase and a maltogenic amylase (see TABLE 1). TEMPERATURE Optimum 55-60°C. Both enzymatic components are deactivated in beer during fermentation and pasteurization process (see TABLE 2). pH EFFECT Optimum pH between 5,0 and 6,0. RATES 1 to 5 liters of MAXIFERM for 1 ton of raw material. APPLICATION MAXIFERM may be added in the beginning of the mash. MAXIFERM may also be added in the fermenter. ACTIVITY 2000 PU/g and 2000 MU/g. AVAILABILITY Liquid form in polypropylene drums of 30 kg. SAFETY MAXIFERM is produced according to FAO/WHO JECFA and FCC recommendations for...

Cone Bottom Conical Tanks for Complete Drain Applications Cone Bottom Conical Tanks provide the ultimate solution for applications that require a complete drain. These help for the efficient processing of some liquids and can save money and time when compared to a flat bottom storage tank. Other applications for these conical cone bottom tanks include a settlement tank or sludge tank. A Unique Full Drain Solution Conical tanks are unique in that their contents discharge completely through a cone point at the centre of their base. Their cone base and smooth internal walls ensure complete discharge. This has clear advantages for food production, fermented beers, mixing tank, manufacturing and farming applications. Enduramaxx cone bottom tanks provide a unique solution with choices of a 5, 15, 30, 45 and 60-degree cone. This cone angle ensures maximum performance, with even the most viscous liquids not building up inside the tank.

Organic erythritol; though it sounds new, erythritol (ear-RITH-ri-tall) has been around as long as grapes, peaches, pears, watermelon, and mushrooms. It’s a type of carbohydrate called a sugar alcohol that people use as a sugar substitute. Erythritol is found naturally in some foods. It’s also made when things like wine, beer, and cheese ferment

In a crossflow filtration the filter-surface is a semipermeable membrane. The liquid passes through the membrane and across of it. Thus keeps it clean. Used for wine, fruit fermented, mead, beer. The membranes used by Bared do not create any mechanical resistance: are delicate on the product and do not increase its temperature. Filtration with Bared systems guarantees the brilliant and sterile product in one passage compared to other systems that require more filtration stages with resulting in greater stress on the product.

Beer loss and oxygen intake are reduced to an absolute minimum, making the SCHULZ filtration system attractive even for small-scale brewers. A continuous dosage of filtering aids (cellulose and/or perlite) ensures that the permeability of the candle and flexibility with fluctuations in the filter inlet are maintained. Furthermore, the use of a downstream particle filter is rendered obsolete thanks to special depth filter cartridges. For operating batches of more than 10,000 hl, the service life of the filter can be increased, as is shown in the unit pictured here, by a separator and adjoining buffer tank. The modular design allows for a gradation of the filtration capacity in a 15 hl/l increment. • Kieselgur-free precoat filtration • Capacity of 15 hl/h/module • Built-in CO2 nozzle cuts down on oxygen intake • Flexibility with regard to different unfiltrate conditions • Dosage vessel can also function as CIP & sterilization tank for the filter • No downstream

The Gentle-boil system SchoKo 2.0 is installed where evaporation has always been the most effective—between the whirlpool and the wort cooler. This is similar to the conditions the so-called Kuehlschiff (Eng. Cooling tun) provided in the past, only here the process occurs within in an airtight system, free from exposure to oxygen. Brewers can look forward to a final product with a perfect foam head and exceptional flavor stability. The energy consumption comes out to less than 1 Liter of fuel oil per 100 Liters of wort (approximately 1 gallon of fuel oil per 26 gallons of wort). Because vacuum evaporation can now take place at 80°C (176°F), the re-heating of any reserve hot water can be eliminated. Thanks to the complete recovery of evaporation heat, the amount of hot water generated in the evaporation condenser is considerably reduced.
