In the fluid dynamics laboratory of our Wasserburg competence centre, we design new fan wheels and turbines and optimise existing systems for performance, energy efficiency and noise emissions. We also develop complete systems of wheels with power units. Our range of tests includes suction operation, pressure operation and also unpressurised measurements. Revolutions up to 40,000 r/min and diameters of up to 250mm are possible. In our prototype department, we are able to simulate or modify the environmental circumstances of the fan wheels or turbines, thus achieving optimal operational conditions. Furthermore, we carry out mould-flow analysis, use ANSYS from external partners for the flow simulation and establish the fault probability and fault effect with FPFEs. HIGH-PERFORMANCE FAN TTV 4500 SCascadable fan for construction and restoration work Whether to speed up construction drying, for dust collection or the ventilation on construction sites, in storage spaces and workshops or the agriculture – the TTV 4500 S is a smart ventilation solution for all users looking for a budget-optimized high-performance fan. During operation the adjustable 2-stage axial fan can impress with high pressure and an enormous air flow rate of up to 5,000 m³/h – this corresponds roughly to 1,388 litres of air per second. Therefore, the TTV 4500 S is the ideal fan type for the circulation of high air volumes.
